How does silk screen printing work?


First, the screen (fine mesh fabric) is coated with a thin UV light-sensitive photo emulsion.

This closes all openings of the meshes in the sieve

The screen is exposed using a stencil located between the UV light source and the screen.

The unexposed areas of the stencil (contours fonts ...) can now be washed out and the print image becomes visible.

Now the ink is pressed with a squeegee through the print image (screen) onto your part and the screen printing is ready after curing.
